AR AFFF 3-3 - Alcohol Resistant Aqueous Film Forming Foam - this concentrate is formulated from special fluoro-chemical and hydrocarbons surfactant, high molecular weight polymers and solvents. It is a multipurpose foam as it has applications in both class A & class B type fires - water miscible (polar solvents) & water immiscible fuels (Hydrocarbons). When applied over polar solvents it forms a polymeric membrane to help prevent the release of fuel vapor. Due to high drainage time it has a strong cooling effect.
- RAPID FLAME KNOCK DOWN ON CLASS B FIRES
- STRONG FUEL VAPOR SUPPRESSIONS
- LONG SHELF LIFE, USABLE AS PRE-MIX
- EXCELLENT FUEL SHEDDING PROPERTY
- COMPATIBLE WITH FRESH/SEA WATER AND WITH DRY POWDER AND SUITABLE FOR USE AS A TWIN AGENT
HIGH RISK PROTECTION
Civil and military aviations, oil refineries, offshore oil platforms, oil tankers, bulk fuel oil storage etc.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
FOAMER BRAND AR-AFFF Concentrate can be used with standard & conventional low/medium expansion foam making equipment with fresh sea/brackish water, either as a solution or through foam induction systems. This unique quality of FOAMER BRAND AR-AFFF Concentrate makes it suitable for use in special applications like crash Tenders/Monitors/Foam chambers Air-aspirating and non-aspirating sprinkler heads or spray nozzles/Air-aspirating foam nozzles/portable foam Extinguishers etc. FOAMER BRAND AR-AFFF Concentrate, applied into fixed water spray or sprinkler installations for protection of stores, ware-houses, tanker loading areas and other local risks involving a spilled fuel fire, has been found extremely effective. Various crude oils, gasoline, diesels fuels, aviation fuels, etc. Its excellent wetting characteristics make it suitable in combating class A fires as well. It can be used with dry chemical extinguishing agents without regard to the order of application to provide even greater fire protection capability.

FOAMER BRAND AR-AFFF Concentrate can be easily proportioned using most conventional equipments such as:
1. Balanced pressure and inline balanced pressure pump proportioning equipment
2. Balanced pressure bladder tank proportioners
3. Around-the-pump and through-the-pump proportioners
4. Fixed or portable (in-line) venture proportioners
5. Handline nozzles with fixed induction/pickup tubes
The minimum and maximum usable temperature for FOAMER BRAND AR-AFFF in this equipment is 1.7oC and 49oC.
When stored in the packaging supplied (poly-ethylene jerrycans, drums) and within the temperature limits specified by the manufacturer, the shelf life of FOAMER BRAND AR-AFFF Concentrate is 15-20 years. If the product is frozen during storage or transportation, thawing will render the product completely usable. Mixing after freeze thaw cycling is recommended.
FOAMER BRAND AR-AFFF Concentrate can be used on either conventional class B fuels or the polar solvent type class B fuels. Its excellent wetting characteristics, makes it suitable in combating class A fires as well. It requires low energy to make foam and can be used with both aspirating and non-aspirating discharge devices.
